We offer fine modest and contemporary bridal gowns by reputable designers who share our love

for today's modern styles and graceful fabrics.

We also have a fantastic selection of formalwear for other occasions.

Don't forget to finish off your look with our fun shoes and tasteful jewelry;

we have the largest selection of bridal and special occasion crystal and zirconia jewelry in western Utah.

We no longer offer outside alteration services but can recommend good seamstresses in the area.

We do still alter any gown purchased in our shop as our schedule allows.

About Modern Victoria

Our quaint, red brick building in historic downtown Tooele has been a bridal salon for years under other owners. Many of you will recall it as Gowns By Pamela, owned by Mrs. Davis. When she dropped the contract with Gowns By Pamela it became Donna's Brides, and then she sold to Ms. Taylor, who renamed it Mrs. Sew N Sew's. It was finally sold in February 2008 to a local family-owned LLC, and became Modern Victoria. As the salon has changed owners, the selection and services have also changed to accomodate the growing diversity here in Tooele.

Our mission at Modern Victoria is to provide a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, and amazing dresses you would have to drive hours to find otherwise. We do our best to offer superior client service, quality graceful gowns, and the best pricing available.

We appreciate our clients who shop "local first".

By doing so, you are helping Tooele strengthen the city infrastructure, including better schools and roads. We are active in our community and donated or raised over $300 in 2009 for local schools and our selected charities.

We get comments every day about the interior design of our shop. "Beautiful", "homey", and "comfortable" are just a few words our customers use to describe it. We are definitely not an impersonal warehouse store!
